The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate programs in central, state, and other participating universities across India. It was introduced to provide students with a single, common platform for university admissions, reducing the need to appear for multiple entrance tests. The exam is computer-based and is divided into sections that test language proficiency, domain-specific knowledge, and general aptitude. CUET ensures a fair and standardized selection process, offering equal opportunities to students from different boards and backgrounds to secure admission to prestigious universities.
